Arc 6
Luciano was walked down the corridor.
A red-haired woman walked from the front of him, purring like a cat. Luciano’s face twisted in annoyance, but the woman laughed wickedly.
“Oh, Baron Barcelo! How are you? I was brought to the castle because my husband is attending a conference. I’m also worried about how my daughter-in-law is. Do you think she is doing well in the Queen’s service?”
Luciano glanced at the woman. “Mrs Matos, I’m the prince consort now. Aren’t you too impolite? Do you not think it necessary to have some courtesy? We’re not on the same side, you know.”
“Well, I’m scared. I’m not by your side.” The woman leaned against Luciano. Then she opened her fan to obscure her mouth, and she said in a soft voice.
“Luciano, what is it? When the hell are you going to kill that woman? You must have received the poison from Leandro. How much do you think that poison was? If she continues to drink it, that woman will die on her own, so hurry up.”
”Shut up, Flavia. Don’t speak Serratian here.”
“What do you know from Priscilla? She says you’ve been with her all day long, and I also heard you’ve been hanging around with her frequently these days. What do you mean to do? I won’t let you get away with this, explain to me.”
Luciano ironically lifted an eyebrow at Flavia who was pressing him. The Queen’s servants ── It was natural for Priscilla to know about the acts between Luciano and Alana.
They entered the room to change the candles and jugs, and Luciano held Alana no matter if she wanted to. He had no intention of refraining from doing so.
“Well tell Priscilla. What’s the use of peeping on the affair of another couple, and troubling himself by asking other people when Callisto can’t even raise a hand.”
“A couple? I don’t like it. I’m the one who’s going to marry you. You haven’t killed anyone recently. You can’t get it up. The intercourse is a lie. You’re lying!”
“You’ll see soon. Don’t talk casually to me in the future.”
Flavia called to him many times, but Luciano’s departing back did not turn around nor did he answer.
When he reached the room he was given, his aides Frian and Leandro were practising with their swords in the room. As soon as they noticed Luciano, they stopped and bowed. The two must have been bored.
Because ever since Luciano embraced Alana for the first time, he rarely returned to his room. It had been a week since then, but he only stopped by to change his clothes.
Frian stepped forward, the first thing he did was ask Luciano. ”Can I report to you, Luciano?”
“Although he has black hair, there are sixty-two people currently in the castle with black hair. However, the numbers are not stable because they change daily. It seems that only certain nobles are allowed to stay for a long time. Armenia seems to be a monolith, divided into several factions. Broadly, the two powers are those who support the Queen and those against. The anti-queen aristocrats are not allowed to stay in the castle. However, they seem to be spreading their roots, and things may happen without your intervention.”
Luciano then nodded his chin towards Leandro.
“I will report. It was impossible to chase Lorenzo’s stone. Because the nobles see Lorenzo’s stone as an honour and for appearance’s sake, they lie about having it. Even if you listen to their story, they say that the confection is so rare, it has the equivalent value of a rare gem. I embraced several women and confirmed it, but all of them admitted that Lorenzo’s stone was a tool used for appearance.”
Waiting for Leandro’s story to end, Frian added. “Luciano, a pigeon from Conrad arrived this morning, but it seems that the land of Serrat, which is now a part of Armenia’s territory, is being scraped by Teges. It seems that Armenia is still unaware. Both of them are pests for us, but I wonder if it would be fun to bite them.”
Luciano brushed his long hair. After the fall of Serrat, Armenia and Teges shared their territory. 70% was dominated by Teges, but the rest was Armenia’s. Mysteriously, Armenia had only the barren land of Rivas and the surrounding land.
──Why does Armenia insist on the wilderness of the Rivas?
